Searching and Browsing an Archive of Communications based on ontologies

In the context of a new software solution (ECC – Enterprise Communications Center), the goal of this thesis is to propose on how to develop a powerful and efficient Information Retrieval system over a repository of information, which contains all communications regarding a specific organization under all formats – digitalized written letters, faxes, and mostly emails. This system will be supported by an intelligent classification of communications and by a set of ontologies which are capable of expressing the general context of the communications made within the organization.
