Description

Research collaboration centered around joint PhD students in the areas of the project (Logic Programming, Constraints, Natural Language, Reasoning with Uncertainty).

Started in January 1995 and was concluded in 1999.

Participating entities: CENTRIA - UNL, Univ. Minho, INRIA (France), Univeristy of New Orleans, University of Nantes, University of Toulouse.

Principal researcher: Pierre Deransart (France).

Funding entities: Scientific and Technical Inst. for the International Cooperation (ICCTI - MCT), Ministry of Science (France).

Principal researcher: Luís Moniz Pereira.

Results

Project ended in February 99, but a number of joint tutelage PhD theses are still underway.
