Member summary

InformationJoão Leite was born in Coimbra, Portugal, in 1970.

He is Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department of the New University of Lisbon, and member of the research center for Artificial Intelligence — CENTRIA.

He obtained his PhD in Computer Science at the New University of Lisbon in 2002. Before that, he obtained a MSc in Computer Science at the New University of Lisbon in 1997 and graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Coimbra in 1994.

His primary research interests include:
  • Knowledge Representation and Reasoning
  • Multi-Agent Systems
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Answer-Set Programming
