Member summary

InformationIrene Pimenta Rodrigues is since October 2002 Associated Professor in the Department of Computer Science of the University of Évora. She coordinates the master in informatics, since 2003.

She got a B. Sc. in Informatics Engineering in 1987 and a PhD in Computer Science in 1995 by the New University of Lisbon.

Her main research interests are within the area of Artificial Intelligence, more specifically in natural language processing, dialogue systems, Information systems and information retrieval. She is currently working on R&D projects aiming to develop inteligent interfaces to database documents and to
databases content.
She has co-authored papers on these subjects, and participated on projects on these subjects.
